Sunday Morning Breakfast

Sometimes when we go out to breakfast on Sunday mornings, we drive past the construction site of the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute. Things are moving right along on the project. This organization was created to study, treat and prevent diseases like Alzheimer's, ALS, Huntington's, Parkinson's and dementia. The building was designed by Frank Gehry, the architect who designed the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Dancing House in Prague. I can't wait to see it when it's finished.

Okay, I have a few chores to do and then I'm going to paint. Hooray!

Oh my! I thought that was a building that was in the process of coming down and I was wondering what they did to have it take on such a funny form as it fell. Not sure I'm a fan of the "architecture" (I use the term loosely), but it is definitely creative! I love going to breakfast!

Tracey, I did have fun painting.

That article is only one page, but it made me feel good when I read it.

Deb, I agree it's a wonderful building. Thank you for the compliment on my work!

Autumn Leaves, my taste usually runs toward things that are antique, old, traditional, or old-fashioned; but this building has caught my imagination. I hope they have an open house when it's completed. It's so unusual.

I love going to breakfast, lunch and dinner:)

I've awarded you the Kreativ Blogger award. Please do check out my blog http://autumnscolorfulleaves.blogspot.com/ to pick it up. The "rules" say that you must tell us 7 things about yourself, and then foward the award onto 7 other creative bloggers...

Thank you all so much for allowing me to enjoy your blogs!

Teresa, I want to go inside and see how the world looks as you look out the windows. It is such a unique building. I'm not sure what the completion date is, but I'll post more photos when it's finished.
