Our patio cover was completed this week. Although we did the demolition ourselves, we weren't confident of our ability to install it, so we hired a contractor. It is beautiful! Photos to follow.
I have a sketch done for a new watercolor.
I finished reading Tim Russert's book, Big Russ and Me. (I had to use italics - I can't figure out how to underline.) I liked the memoir.

Candy, I worry about you, truly. I keep sensing something...I hope you are ok. Can't wait to see your next painting. I think your work is so wonderful. Now...about my not working. We really can't afford it and now we have both my school loans and a car payment and car insurance. None of which we had before last November and it was tight then. My husband thinks we can manage but I do the bills and do not think so. So? I have a job interview tomorrow (Sunday) at 12:30 pm at a private campground for an accountant position. It will make use of my degree, isn't far from where I live at all, and I couldn't think of a better environment in which to work! Hoping and praying it comes through, though that will leave me stressed for my daughter. She still has a little one at home and I am watching here now.

Sherry, don't worry. We're doing fine here in Las Vegas. I started that painting yesterday afternoon. I'll post a photo when I finish. Thank you for giving me so much encouragement! I hope you've posted how your interview went. I'm going to check your blog in a minute.

I've been away from blogging for a while, too. Busy and then I came down with a flu bug...but I'm better now. Still busy, but aren't we all?
