A New Palette

I bought a new Masterson palette from Daniel Smith. I had never tried this type before. I love it! I will be doing some more little sketches tomorrow. I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Saturday!

Absolutely loving your new blog design, Candy! How is your mom and dad? Hope your dad is faring ok in this frigid and snowy winter we're having here in the midwest. Supposed to get 1 to 2 feet of snow Monday/Tuesday. Yay. Looking forward to seeing what you create with the new palette!

Thank you, Katherine! I love getting new stuff:)

Thank you, Sherry! I thought it was kind of bold, but the colors make me really happy, so I went for it.

My mom is coming out again this spring for a visit. She's doing very well, but was rather unhappy with all the snow they got in North Carolina this winter. She's used to getting snow that melts in 4 or 5 days.

My dad is doing great, too. Of course, he's used to all the snow. He's one of those guys who, when the car spins on ice and goes off the road, just says, "Someone will be along in a minute and we'll get the car back on the road." My response would be, "Waaaaaaaaaa!"

Love this new design! I just changed mine up a bit also- I don't think all these fonts were available when I first did it, so I used some new ones also! Looks great!

Sheryl, thank you! I didn't like having the type spread across the entire page, but I couldn't figure out how to change it. Then I thought, what the heck. I'll just change the entire design. It was fun playing with different fonts. Some are really hard to read, but others are great.
