Lady Bird Come On Down.

When I finished this sketch of Lady, I thought of a song by Lee Hazelwood.  I think it's called Lady Bird.  This is the latest in my horse series.  I have really been looking at the rescue horses.  I'm learning a lot.  Once again I used my magic pencils (which I learned about from Chris Lally) and this is also in the 11" x 14" sketch pad.

See? Those pencils really work! Beautiful drawing.
Kidding aside, the magic is that pencil in YOUR hand, Candy.

Candy, I'm loving your horse drawings. Want to wish you a Happy New Year.
Here in Florida we are experiencing very cold weather. And it's not doing my creating any good. Hope it all passes soon.. The cold and my slump.

Bonjour chère amie,

Merci pour les voeux... Reçois tous les miens !

La magie opère, ces crayons sont fabuleux... Toutefois comme la baguette magique, il faut la FEE ! J'aime le regard profond de ce joli portrait de cheval.
Bravo !

Gros bisous

Bonjour, Martine! Merci pour vos gentils commentaires. Votre blog soulève toujours mes esprits et vos remarques douces font la même chose!
Câlins à vous!

Barbra Joan, I sure hope it warms up there soon! We've been blessed with very mild weather so far this winter. Happy New Year! Stay warm. Maybe drink some hot chocolate or my mom says hot buttered rum does wonders:) Your slump will pass quickly. I'm coming over to check out your new pencils. I saw your blog title on my sidebar and I'm curious.

Sandy, thank you so much!
