Late last night I heard the screen door slam...

Here is my first attempt at a DSFDF challenge. I spent some time thinking about painting it and by the time I decided to try it, the challenge was over. I'd never painted cars before. Trying something new makes me nervous, but I did it. I can see some things that I should have done differently, but I actually like one of the taxis and I used some of my favorite colors, so it's not all bad!

Is that Gammies? I figured it was either you or Jim. Thank you for the compliment! Jim wants to hang it in his gallery, along with some of my attempts at oil painting that he has hanging there now. (His gallery is our shed.) I told him he can have it and I'll mat it for him.

Cora wants to know where the nudes are that you promised us?

Tell Cora that her aunt says to check out Ali Cavanaugh's paintings.

I think you did a great job on this. I wouldn't have tried to paint this city scene at all - too much going on and too many cars! ha ha

Thank you, Rhonda! Whenever I go to your blog, I see you trying all kinds of new things (with great success). I'm usually not that brave, but I decided it's time to go for it.
