More Wisconsin Photos

The Lucius Woods facility is made of logs. The lake is behind the stage. What a great place for a concert! In one photo, you can see the rainbow that appeared during the break in the concert.

Lake Superior is beautiful. It looks just like the ocean. It's about 350 miles long and 160 miles wide. I have to go to Wisconsin Point, which is where this photo was taken, each time I visit Wisconsin and I always get my feet wet - no matter what the weather is like.

I see a double rainbow! Lovely! I've always wanted to go to upper MI. Years ago when my ex was in the military, we met a family from way up there. Just listening to her words and descriptions made me long to move. Still would love it. Lake Superior is gorgeous and I've never heard a contrary description. Sigh...

Autumn Leaves, I'm such a dunce! I didn't even notice the second rainbow until you pointed it out. My dad told us that they're putting in a hiking trail called The North Country Trail. It's not completed yet, but it's supposed to go from New York to North Dakota. Now, there would be a vacation for you. You could hike a nice segment of the trail and see some of the most beautiful sights in the world. Jim and I would like to do some hiking by Lake Superior.
