Sarah Stilwell Weber (1878-1939)

This is from The Saturday Evening Post Jan/Feb 2011 edition. I found some more of her illustrations by googling her, but I've been unable to find a biography. I love her work.

Yes, this is a lovely picture, so evocative of a particular period of American illustration. I love it! I will go right now and Google for more of Ms. Weber's work.

I'm crazy over this illustration! Love it, love it! So glad you posted this... I've never heard of her- and that's a shame!

I also like Tasha Tudor's work and have collected a few of her books. She passed away now, but left a charming legacy.

Oh, I love it!
Hey was that you who donated?? I only know one other Candy and she is married to a "John." I mean, a man name John. ;)

Anyway, THANK YOU!!!!!! :) You are so sweet and amazing! (if it wasn't you and I sound like a nut, I apologize!)

I'm so happy that you all like her work.

Teresa, I'm going to check out Tasha Tudor. She's another artist that I'd never heard of until I read your comment.

Lucinda, you made me laugh. You're welcome!
