No Painting, But I've Been Hiking

We went hiking in Red Rock Canyon, which is one of my favorite places in the universe.  It's only about 45 minutes from our house.  Here are some photos.

Have you ever tried to make your way through desert vegetation?  I'm a desert girl, so no problem:)  Isn't this place gorgeous?

Now, Pittman Wash is actually in town.  In Henderson, they have built this wonderful trail along the Pittman wash.  It's about 10 miles away from our house.  You can hike or bike and the people on the trail are very friendly!

Beautiful pictures. I've been to Red Rock Canyon and understand why you love it so! Once of these days I hope to make my way back there. Maybe we can go for a hike! :)

Yeah Carol, then I can stay home and watch the game!

Jimmm, I don't know how to break this to you, but you will be coming with us. Carol's husband hikes, too!

Hiking is great force collector for future art exercises and successes, specially in such beautiful surroundings!
So I will be waiting for something arty, artful photos, perhaps.
How Race for the Cure did go on?
(And thank you so much for your sweetest comment!)

Hi, Irina! I agree that hiking is a great way to get photos for future paintings.

The Race for the Cure was great. I don't think there were as many people as last year, but there was still a good crowd, so I'm sure fundraising went very well.

I'm coming over to visit your blog. You've been doing some wonderful work!
