Cora!

My sister has a Boston terrier named Cora.  Cora is a sweet, beautiful, crazy girl.  Boston terriers often have problems with their eyes.  Cora had to have both eyes removed.  She handled the surgery very well and happily runs around the house because she remembers where everything is.  You almost wouldn't know she was blind.  I painted Cora from a photo of her sleeping.
This is on 1/4 sheet of Arches 140 lb cold press watercolor paper.

Gros bisous

Cora is a sweetie. Yes, they do remember where things are so it's easier for them to get around.. Good to see you Candy, and yes Florida is nice. I've lived in every part of it.
Now I'm way north in the Tallahassee area. Not like the Florida you see in commercials.. different but still very nice .

Beautiful painting. A sad story. I didn't know that. So glad the dog is managing well.
That would have broken my heart, if it was my dog!

XOXOXOXOXOXO Barbara

Hi, Barbra Joan! I was used to the Pacific Ocean as far as oceans go, so when I first stepped into the ocean at Cocoa Beach, I was amazed at how warm the water was. Lovely place!

I feel the same way, Barbara. Tammy was worried about how Cora would handle the surgery. The vet told her that it all depends on the dog's personality. Well, Cora is a strong, happy, crazy girl and she is doing very well.
