Guess What!!!

At the same time that I submitted the painting to the Lake Las Vegas Show, I submitted a different painting to another show.  I just got the notice that it was accepted!  Hooray!  This is the one that got in!  It's going to be in a show at the West Sahara Library in October.

Nope.

I didn't make it into the show.  That's okay.  There will be other paintings and other shows.  Now that the concert at Lake Las Vegas is out, I'll let you know what I decide to do on my birthday😊.   There is going to be an art train ride in Boulder City that evening.  Tony Bennett is going to be in town. Jim says we can do whatever I want.  I think there will be birthday cake AND creme brulee involved😊.

Hank Virgona

I'd never heard of Hank Virgona before today.  Today I fell in love with him and his art.  Jim found a documentary about him on Amazon Prime and we watched it this afternoon.  I recommend it.  He was a lovely man.  The film is inspiring.  If you watch it, please let me know what you think of the artist and his art.
