I Was Going for Cheerful...

We've had two gorgeous, sunny days in a row. I was going for cheerful in this little watercolor. Hmmm... Is it cheerful, or is it...? Oh well, I've got plenty of paper and paint:)

Well, I personally think it is cheerful...But then I love the greens. There is such a sense of peace that I feel when surrounded with green. Of course, once we paint here (still on my to do list), I suspect every room will be some value of green. Is peace cheerful? For me it is indeed!

Hi Candy,
It looks cheerful and spring like!!
Thanks for the suggestion of the author Louise Perry...I will have to try her. Right now I am reading
"Beach Music" by Pat Conroy. It is really good. Have you read any of his books?

Thank you, Tracey!

I haven't read anything by Pat Conroy, but I will check him out. After reading your comment, I went to his web site. I think I'm going to like him.

JRonson, thank you for the information. Your work is very intricate and interesting.

Hi, Diane! I'm glad I found you through Penny. Isn't she a kick? Once again, I have to tell you that I love the purses you made!

Thank you for your sweet comment!

I love sunflowers and this one is beautiful. Really lovely work. Sunflowers have so much personality and always remind me of little faces.
