Tammy asked me to contribute a painting for the Paws for Love silent auction. It made me feel really good. Now, I hope that someone actually bids on it...
There is a recreation center near our school. They often have activities for senior citizens. I was pulling into the parking lot around lunchtime on Thursday. There was an elderly lady walking through the parking lot. She was using a cane. She had huge rabbit ears on her head. When we were nose to nose through the driver's side window, I waved at her and she lifted her cane to me. She had lovely white hair and a beautiful face. She looked so happy, that she made me happy. I'm grateful for little glimpses into other people's lives. Moments of happiness...
Mom is coming for a visit. She'll be here on Tuesday. We always have a great time when she's here.

I love when you post, Candy. I guess the school year and house projects keep you so busy! Will you please share a photo of that hall closet door you mentioned that has a piece of art on it? I so want to see it! I know you are excited for your mom to come out, yes? I guess this means you are on spring break next week? Yippeeeeee!!!!
I'm a fan of those little glimpses, too. I often watch people and wonder what their stories are...
I'm waiting one more time from new works :D:D
my friend Heather wanted to know if the organization you donated to is here in Vegas or in Tammy's town?
Heather just got her most recent kitty from the Paws place you mentioned.
Randi,
The Paws for Love event Candy is donating a painting to is here in WI. The local Humane Society has an annual dinner/dance/auction. I've gone every year and we have a blast. I don't bid on a lot (mostly desserts - yummm...) - last year our table won a chocolate cheesecake with a $200.00 bid - we were in a bidding war with another table.
