Gratitude Friday - Thank you, Jim.

Thank you for 11 wonderful years. I love you.

Today is our anniversary. We went to The Broiler tonight to celebrate. Jim had steak. I had lobster. Jim had an extra glass of merlot for dessert. I had creme brulee. We had so much to talk about - memories, plans for the future. It was a perfect evening.

Happy anniversary. Just found your blog via Cobalt Violet. I am excited to see your watercolors. Come see my giveaway if you wish... :)

It sounds a perfect anniversary celebration, my friend. I wish you and Jim many, many more years together. Is your mom still visiting?

Thank you, Theresa. I'll stop by your blog.

Sherry, thank you. She'll be here until Thursday. We're having a very good visit. She and Jim get along so well that he invited her out for our anniversary dinner. She said, "Oh, no. That's for the two of you." She ended up going out with her friends. "After all it is Friday night and this is Las Vegas."

Jim's birthday is next week. She's going to bake him a red velvet cake.

She'll be here until Thursday. We've been able to spend a lot of time together because of Spring Break. Monday, it's back to school for us, but she has a lot of friends here who will keep her entertained.

Thanks for the update, Candy. I am so glad the three of you are having such a great time! And how cool that she has friends there to hang out with occasionally. I think we all need that!

Sherry, the phone rings more at our house during the week or so that she's here than it does the rest of the year. She has some very good friends here.

J, thank you for the good wishes. As usual, I'm headed your way to see what wonderful new work you've done.
