Petrea, I'm so glad to have found your blog through a comment you made on Irina's blog. Yes, that ceiling in the Bellagio lobby is really something. I love it and it does make me think of watercolor. It's called Fiori di Como by glass sculptor Dale Chihuly. It has 2,000 hand-blown glass blossoms.
Hello Candy, thank you for stopping by my little blog. I love your dogs. If they were here, I would give them bacon bagels. I was at the Bellagio a couple of years ago, but not during the holidays. I can only imagine how much larger-than-life the Christmas season is on the Strip. I have absolutely no artistic talent, but I am familiar with Chihuly's work. I admire all of you artists.
