We went to see the Nevada Watercolor Society Fall Show at Sahara West Library today. This sculpture is on display at the library. We loved it! It's made of thin pieces of steel that are suspended with clear strands of what I think is some sort of plastic.
The watercolor show was good, too! I especially liked a painting by Tatsiana Harbacheuskaya. It was called Stephan. I had never seen her work before. I think her work is lovely.

Love the sculpture - really creative. I also checked out Tatsiana's work online. Her watercolors are really beautiful, so sensitive! Nice post, Candy!
Thanks, Chris! I'm glad you liked the sculpture and Tatsiana's watercolors. "Stephan" was awarded Best in Show.
Interesting sculpture, thanks for sharing, a new perspective indeed.

Padmaja, I'm glad you liked the sculpture. It was quite unusual.
Lucinda, it truly is something to see. Maybe one day you'll pop over to LV. We've got a lot of cool stuff and we're really not far from you.
Wow.... what an imagination - thin pieces of steel that are suspended with strands.
Definitely, Haddock! Thank you for stopping by!
