Girl in a Red Swimsuit - Completed

I decided against darkening her skin. The colors are darker when you see the actual painting than they are in the photos. So, this is it. I painted the things that attach the oars to the boat (I don't know what they're called), added a little more yellow to the inside of the boat and put a little more shadow around the perimeter of the boat.

Thank you, Candy, for visiting me! I think you did beautifully on this piece yourself! Me? I'm still seriously learning and practicing, watercolors being my favorites. Recently attempted oils for the first time and like them better than I expected. Have you tried watercolor pencils yet? Nice for when you want a bit more control also...(I used them on the rower in this challenge!)

Autumn Leaves, thank you for dropping by my blog. Watercolor is my favorite, too. I haven't tried watercolor pencils, but I'll have to check them out. This challenge is a lot of fun. I enjoy seeing all the wonderful paintings. Besides, anything that gets me to sit down and paint is a good thing. I need to practice, practice...
